The four bedroom, three bath house was taken down to the studs. Leslie installed beautiful ceramic flooring that looks like wood throughout the house except two baths. We chose different flooring for that. Leslie's suggestions for the bathroom tiles were spot on. Leslie will tell you the truth! I insisted on marble counter tops for my kitchen - they have etched just like she told me they would. I love them anyway!

After evaluating each proposal, Modern Design and Remodeling came out on top by a large margin. Why did we like them? First let me say they were not the cheapest, but they more then made up for that with their design suggestions and very professional team. They worked with us, offering some suggestions and getting our input. The entire time it felt like we were a team working together to get a great end product.

When it came time to do the actual work they were on time, very professional, did high quality work (I am a perfectionist so the work had to meet my stringent standards) and cleaned up every day. There were a couple of minor issues, but they were quickly resolved. While the entire team was excellent - let me note a couple of people for who deserve extra credit: first, Leslie whose design creativity and suggestions helped develop exactly what we had envisioned and second, Jonathon, who directly supervised the renovation.
